Session Description:

Organizations often add social media as a training tool to further their marketing efforts, leverage technology, follow industry trends, or appeal more to younger workers. However, successful social learning implementations require that activities are grounded in strategy and that they can be measured for success. Join this webinar to explore case studies of successful social learning efforts and also discover the training and communication challenges that social media can address.

About the Speaker:

Andy Petroski is the Director and Assistant Professor of Learning Technologies at Harrisburg University of Science & Technology. Andy coordinates the Learning Technologies Master of Science program and teaches courses in serious game design, gamification, advanced instructional design, and online learning. His work at Harrisburg University has included efforts in the areas of educational technology strategy, games and simulations, classroom technology, web 2.0, patient education, social learning, and faculty development. Andy regularly presents webinars and demonstrates best practices for gamification for the classroom, social learning, virtual classrooms, and problem-based instructional design.
